The Weekly Poll: What’s your average utility bill?

The weekly poll is trying to save power by keeping the heat set low. Go vote and try to warm it up a little.

This week’s poll topic is about our utilities and how much we pay for the luxury of having them each month. I can remember when I was but a wee sprout living in a tiny studio apartment just off of The Cumberland Strip and my average monthly utility bill was never more than $50.

My, how times have changed.

These days I live in a home about 5 times as big as that place and our combined utility bill is almost more than the rent on that little bitty studio apartment used to be.
