This week’s topic has to do with something we’ve had an awful lot of lately: cold weather. And more specifically, what effects the recent cold snap – and snow – have had on your home. One of the main problems lots of homeowners have when it stays under freezing this long is frozen and sometimes even burst pipes. And that’s no fun at all. Other folks have to deal with the challenges of keeping a older home warm, while some would just be happy to get up their driveway without sliding right back down.
