Located off Lonas Road not too far west of Middlebrook, Far View Hills is a neighborhood that definitely lives up to its name. The views from the top of the neighborhood are probably some of the most encompassing in the whole city.

Homes in the neighborhood date mostly from the 60s and 70s, although there are a few newer construction homes sprinkled throughout. Dominant home styles include ranchers, bungalows, and split levels and althought there are some smaller homes, many of the homes tend to be on the larger side, with several homes well over 2000 square feet.

Far View Hills is located just minutes away from the Bearden stretch of the Knoxville Greenway system, making it a great place to call home for walkers, runners, and bikers alike.

Far View Hills is easily accessible via I-40, Middlebrook and Lonas Road. With its fairly central location and close proximity to the interstate, it is an easy commute to downtown, UT, and really, just about anywhere in Knox County.

So if you’re looking for a small neighborhood on the west side that’s still close to the downtown action and that also has some gorgeous mountain view, take a drive through Far View Hills.
