This week Neighborhood of the Week heads stays west to visit a separated but stately neighborhood with it’s very own swimming pool: Lyons Crossing.

Located off Northshore about halfway between Rocky Hill and Ebenezer, Lyons Crossing is early to mid 90s era neighborhood with a lot of traditional two story homes, some ranchers and 1 1/2 story homes, and some very nicely manicured lawns.

According to the neighborhood HOA website, Lyons Crossing is actually made up of three small “neighborhoods,” each with its own access drive off Northshore. There are a total of about 140 homes in Lyon’s Crossing proper.

One nice feature of Lyons Crossing is that it has its very own neighborhood pool and membership is available to all neighborhood homeowners.

Location wise, Lyons Crossing sits in a pretty sweet spot on the southwestern leg of Northshore, and is equally convenient to Rocky Hill and the Pellissippi area of Northshore. That means it’s an easy drive both east and west to good grocery shopping, really yummy dining, and pretty much all the mall shopping you can handle.

Lyons Crossing is easily accessible via I-40, I-140, and Ebenezer Rd.

So if you’re looking for something with a neighborhood pool in a move-up neighborhood that’s conveniently located, Lyons Crossing might be just what you’re looking for.
