Knoxville Foreclosure Watch: November 4, 2009
Welcome back, Watchers! In this week’s edition of Knoxville Foreclosure Watch, active and closed listings were slightly up, while pending listings were slightly down. Just another sleepy week here in Foreclosure Watchin’ Land.
In new listing news, 37918 continued its hot streak with a whopping 6 new foreclosure listings this week. I’ve asked it before and I’ll ask it again: what up, Fountain City? Meanwhile, only 4 other zips had more than one new foreclosure listing last week: 37849, 37912 and 37921 with 3 each and 37920 with 2. And despite the rash of recent 37918 foreclosure listings, 37917 is still in first place for the year with 137 new foreclosure listings so far (but 37918 is just behind it with 130).

Over in closed listing news, 37920 had the most with 3. Hey, south Knoxville is a mighty nice place to live! The other closed listings wer as follows: 2 each in 37917, 37918, 37923 and 37931 and 1 each in 37909, and 37922.
