Knoxville Foreclosure Watch: June 3, 2009
Welcome to June, Watchers! This week on Knoxville Foreclosure Watch, active foreclosures were up for the 2nd week in a row and pending and closed foreclosure listings were both slightly down for the 2nd week running. This last is slightly surprising, as closings usually go up at the end of the month. The first is not so surprising, considering what folks a lot smarter than me are saying about foreclosures and the next possible wave of them. Yeah, we may be foreclosure watchin’ for a little longer than I had ever really planned on.
There were 26 new listings this week and 37917 had the most with 4, putting it back into 1st place for most new foreclosure listings so far this year with 69 total. Other zips with more than one new foreclosure listing included 37914, 37918, 37919, 37931and 37934.
Over in closed listing news, 37918 had 2 and was the only zip that had more than 1. Other zips with closed listings included 37914, 37922, 37924, and 37931.
