Knoxville Foreclosure Watch: June 10, 2009
What’s up, Watchers! This week on Knoxville Foreclosure Watch, active foreclosures were up for the 3rd week in a row, pendings were down for the 3rd week in a row, and closings were up, but only by one. Sigh. We were making such good progress there for a while.
Out of 28 new foreclosure listings, 37917 had the most with 6 and still remains in the lead for most new foreclosure listings so far this year. Other zips with more than one new foreclosure listing included 37721, 37912, 37914, 37918, 37922, and 37931.
Over in closed listing news, last week was apparently the week to be a foreclosure in Fountain City: 4 of last weeks 6 closings were in 37918. 37849 was the only other zip with more than one closed foreclosure listing with a total of two.
