Knoxville Foreclosure Watch: December 2, 2009
Whatcha up to, Watchers? In this week’s edition of Knoxville Foreclosure Watch, active foreclosures hit their highest point since August, while pending and closed foreclosure listings were both down quite a bit. And for those of you keeping score at home, this is the 7th straight week that active listings have been above the 200 mark. Dear Santa, could you please bring us some buyers for all these foreclosures? Kthxbai.
In new listing news, our old friend 37917 had the most with 3. Other zips with more than 1 new foreclosure listing included 37849, 37912, 37920, and 37921. And, yes, 37917 is still in the lead for most new foreclosures listings this year with 150 so far. A dubious honor at best, no?

There were only 8 closed foreclosure listings this week and they broke down like this: 2 each in 37914, 37918 and 37923 and 1 each in 37921 and 37938. And Fountain City remains your favorite foreclosure buyin’ spot, with 67 closed foreclosure listings so far this year.

No kidding right. All I want for Xmas is for the Canadian investors to start buying up all the foreclosed homes in my neighborhoods in Phoenix.
The more they sit here, the more dilapidated they become, it devalues my home dangit.
