Holy heat index, Watchers! This week on Knoxville Foreclosure Watch, closed listings stayed the same, while active foreclosure listings hit another all time FW high of 230 and pending foreclosure listings hit an all time FW low of 86. Urg. I’m posting the Foreclosure Watch chart here just so you can get a visual idea of what that looks like:
See how that blue line keeps going up and the red line keep going down? That’s what I’m talkin’ about. And I’m not thrilled about it. The good news is that closings are remaining the same…for now. Stay tuned to see how the rest of the summer plays out.

In new listing news, 37917 & 37920 tied for first place with 5 new foreclosure listings each, putting 37917 in first place with 80 so far this year and 37920 in second place with 77 so far this year. Other zips with more than one new listing included 37921, 37922, and 37931.
Last week’s 13 closed foreclosure listings were fairly spread out with 2 each in 37918, 37921, and 37931 and 1 each in 37721, 37914, 37919, 37920, 37922, 37924 and 37934. And 37920 is in first place so far this year with a total of 30 closed foreclosure listings.
