Knoxville Foreclosure Watch 2/4/2008
Hope you’re staying warm out there, Watchers! In this week’s edition of Foreclosure Watch, active listings are down yet again, pendings are slightly down, and closings are up. Well, last week was the end of the month and all.
There were 22 new listings last week and 8 of them were in 37917. Yeah, that’s a lot. That brings 37917 into first place for new foreclosure listings for 2009 with 18 so far. The only other zips with more than one new listing were 37918, 37920, and 37921 with 2 each.
There were 13 closed foreclosure listings last week, with 3 in 37921, 2 each in 37918 and 37920 and 1 each in 37912, 37914, 27917, 37923, 37931 and 37932. 37921 beat out 37917 this week for most closed foreclosures in 2009 with 7 so far.
