Here are a couple of charts to wrap up the year that was 2011. I thought it might be a good idea to get a long view of where we are by charting out home sales by year going back to 2006. Turns out it wasn’t the happy, uplifting experience I thought it would be.
Oh, 2011, I remember you like it was only last month. Oh wait, that’s because it was. But now it’s almost the end of January 2012, which means it’s time to once again look back on the month that was and break down the December 2011 Home Sales Report numbers from the Knoxville Association of Realtors (KAAR). Let’s get to it, shall we?
Remember November 2011? Yeah, kind of seems like a distant memory to me too now, but that’s the month we have the home sales numbers for from the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors, so that’s the month you need to try to pull up in The Way Back Machine of your mind. Luckily for you, I have a lot of charts to help you along the way.
October seems like a long, long time ago now that we’re already decking the halls, but that’s the month it’s time to take a look at in this edition of the Knoxville Home Sales Report. The numbers were a little late coming out this month from the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors (KAAR), so let’s not waste any more time. To the charts!
It’s almost time to carve pumpkins and hand out candy, which means it’s the end of October (which also means it’s also almost the end of the year, but I’m not ready to go there yet). And you know what we do at the end of every month: we stop to pause and reflect and look back at the previous month’s sales numbers. And yes, there are both tricks and treats in the September 2011 Home Sales Report numbers from the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors, but there are no real scary monsters. But before we get into the nitty gritty of it all, why don’t we start off with some pretty charts?
It feels weird talking about the August Home Sales Report when I’m contemplating turning my heat on for the first time this year, but that’s exactly what we’re getting ready to do. There was a whole lot of activity and good news (OK, and a little bit of bad news too) in the greater Knoxville area market in August: the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors has the numbers to prove it (and I have the charts to make it pretty), so let’s get right to it.

This summer has been a sometimes no fun economic roller coaster ride, but luckily for us, there were actually more peaks than valleys in July’s portion of that ride, at least as far as Knoxville home sales were concerned.
