All Around K-Town is 4!

That’s right, a little over 4 years ago (come on, you know I’m always late to the party. Even my own ), I posted this little gem that launched All Around K-Town . Hey, every blogger has to start somewhere right?

Since then, AAKT has grown a lot: it’s now on it’s 3rd redesign (Thanks to young whipper snapper Casey Peters) and features regulary weekly and monthly posts like Neighborhood of the Week (featuring gorgeous photos by photog extraordinaire, Robert Stockdale) Foreclosure Watch,  The Weekly Poll and Home Sales Report. In the last year or so, I’ve also added the Seen in a Foreclosure series, which features things I’ve seen…well, you get the picture.

AAKT has also allowed me to grow a lot professionally over the last four years. In fact, last year was my personal best year in the real estate business since I started in 2004 and AAKT readers were a huge part of making that happen. Seriously, I should buy you all cupcakes sometime

I also started regularly appearing on WBIR every month, where I break down Knoxville home sales numbers, and Mornings with Fox 43, where I look at what kinds of homes you can buy in various price ranges in the greater Knoxville area. Both gigs are pretty much a blast and I feel like a pretty lucky girl.

So, thank you, thank you, thank you, AAKT readers for your support and readership over the last four years! It’s been more than a bumpy ride, but you’ve hung in there through one of the craziest periods in real estate, well, pretty much ever. Here’s to hoping the next four years are much less eventful and a whole lot more fun!
